[EN] Born from Diyarbakır’s deep-rooted football culture, Amedspor was originally established as a municipal team in the 1990s. In 2014, the club changed its name to Amed Sportif Faaliyetler Kulübü, embracing an identity that would come to symbolize both athletic ambition and social expression.

For years, Amedspor faced numerous challenges penalties, restrictions, and political pressures but never lost its spirit. In the 2024–2025 season, the team made history in the TFF Second League Red Group with a consistent and determined performance. Heading into the final week with 80 points, Amedspor secured a goalless draw against Menemen FK in their last match, clinching the championship and earning promotion to the First League after an 11-year wait.
